Story

Trust a Traders Pledge

You can donate by texting the following 'TTRT50 followed by £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 to the number '70070'.

We go into the homes of older people every day and often meet people who seem isolated or alone. We know that many of the traders within our directory have encountered innocent people who have been provided with substandard work, unrealistically high bills or unfinished jobs; all too often the most older generation is targeted. At TrustATrader, we want to do something to help, and this is where YOU come in.

Getting involved couldn't be easier, you can create your own activity to participate in or simply donate directly to this page.

By donating to Friends Of The Elderly, you will help give lonely older people a chance to feel involved with their local community and valued again. You will be helping Friends of the Elderly build the foundations of a fantastic campaign, which will bring people closer together and make a real difference to the safety of our neighbourhoods and the lives of older people.

Get involved with our fund raising activities including the upcoming Battersea fun run which is being held on the 18th October 2015. Visit www.trustatrader.com/fundraising for more information.
