I would love to do some doorstep photos for my local community to make people smile and capture this time when we all stayed at home to keep safe and protect each other.
Not being a key worker myself I am in awe of those working so hard to keep the country going and have felt quite helpless.
I’m not charging a fee, just asking for a suggested £15 donation via JustGiving to the Trussell Trust who run a nationwide network of Food Banks including our local one at Weston Favell. Unfortunately they are more in need than ever.
If you would like to get involved, please email me at emma@emmabrooksphotography.co.uk
I will knock when I arrive then step back to keep a safe social distance at all times. I will be with you for 5-10 mins and will email your high res image to you.
My very special friends who I’m very lucky and grateful to have on my doorstep let me snap them today...🥰💞

More and more people are being forced to use food banks because they cannot afford the basics in life. Last year, food banks in the Trussell Trusts network provided 1.6 million three-day emergency food parcels to people in crisis, with over 500,000 of these going to children. This was an increase of almost 20% on the previous year. Now, as the Coronavirus pandemic develops, its likely that increasing numbers of people will need support from their local food bank. As food bank staff and volunteers work to source and distribute food to people who need support, their resources are becoming increasingly stretched as they come under additional pressure. Were working closely with our network of over 1,200 food banks to work out how we can best support each food bank in the coming months to make sure that theyre able to continue to help people in crisis in their local communities.
