Story
Anyone who knew Tony was aware he was a force to be reckoned with, whether you were a fish on his line, someone who dared question the football skills of Manchester City or, worst of all, someone who supported Manchester United. He brought that same fighting spirit to his battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
When first diagnosed Tony was told he had 18 months, he went on to fight for almost 5 years. His life's passions were family, fishing and football. Thanks to the support of the MND Association, and the equipment they kindly donated to him, he was given the freedom to fish and travel with his family.
It is our hope that through donations, made in Tony's memory, we will be able to help other people with MND live their life to the fullest and to help fund research into a cure so others do not need to experience the pain and stress of this condition.
