"Don't ever stop smiling, because when the smile you always knew is taken away from you, you only wish you smiled more" - Daisy (1995-2020)

Story

Back in October 2019, one of our most talented and bubbly team members, Daisy Strange was sadly diagnosed with stage 4 tongue cancer, at just age 24.

Daisy has endured extensive, life changing surgery; lymph nodes removed, jaw broken and tongue removed, replaced with skin from her thigh. She
is currently undergoing very intensive treatment at The Royal Marsden in Chelsea. After the treatment they will also be providing speech and language therapy where they will help Daisy to create sounds without the use of a tongue, and begin to teach her to eat again.

Daisy is eager for as many people as possible to fundraise for The Royal Marsden, who are looking after her with so much love and care. Therefore, we're doing our bit to get our dearly missed Daisy back on the pitch with us as soon as possible - we can't wait!
