Story
At Tristone Capital we are extremely passionate about helping those less fortunate. All of the businesses we own have social impact at the core of their purpose and most are focussed on providing safe, essential care to vulnerable children, young people and adults.
Whilst we provide the best possible social care services to as many vulnerable people as we can, our businesses cannot support children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and we want to do something to address that.
We have therefore decided to support The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity by entering a team in the London to Paris bike ride and have set ourselves a fundraising target of £10,000.
Sadly, nearly 90,000 children in England live with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions leaving thousands of families having to come to terms with every parents' worst fear.
When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. The Rainbow Trust support families with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of their time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed. It is an incredible charity and one we are very proud to be supporting.
So, come September 2022, Yannis, Phil, Lucy, Daryl, Sarah, Jonathan, Ashley, Kevin and Harriett will be partaking in the London to Paris Bike ride which consists of:
- 309 miles
- 4 gruelling days
- 15,468 feet of ascent
- 16 weeks of training
- 9 naively enthusiastic, (currently) unfit, individuals
To get the fundraising for this incredible cause started we, as a company, will be making an initial donation of £2000.
We hope that you will be able to help us reach our fundraising target for this incredible cause, any donations big or small will go a long way to help support the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
Thank you in advance.
