I think most people know my story; it's 3 and a half years since we lost Lucie to Strep B Meningitis at just 16 days old and there has been much progress in the battle for saving children from this awful illness since then, not least the very recent agreement to introduce the vaccination for Strep B to babies from 8 weeks this summer.  At For Lucie we also aim to support the families and the the survivors of all strains of Meningitis, from providing play equipment and supporting Peterborough City Hospital.

We are hoping this year to start expanding the charity's work in the Lincolnshire area whilst exploring opportunities to spread the word into Munich area also.  Meningitis sadly is not just in the UK.
