Event: Silver Moonlight Walk, on 15 June 2012
In memory of SHEILA PIGGOTT
We provide end of life care services to local people.

Story

This year my wife has talked me into doing a 10 mile midnight walk with members of her family in remembrance of her mother Sheila Piggott.

Sheila stayed at St Wilfrid's for her last days whilst suffering from cancer in 1997 and they provided specialist palliative care to help both Sheila and her family through this tragic time.

As most of you will know, I'm a big man, and 10 miles is going to be a real test for me, however I have been walking regularly since January and this is proving good for me and I plan to keep walking regularly after the event as well.

Consider this event is a "Double Edged Sword" - Yes St Wilfrid's is completely a deserving cause, but so is the encouragement you will be showing me, donate and sleep happier tonight knowing you've done two good deeds in one simple step :)
