Well today we completed our longest bike ride yet, 26 miles in 2hours 51min - it wasnt as hard as anticipated...hoping this is a good sign for the big ride!

Firstly, thank you VERY much for visiting our page!

Why are we doing this?

Last year, Michael's Auntie Jane was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  She went into St Gemma's Hospice to rest and for physiotherapy, unfortunately her health deterioted rapidly shortly after she was diagnosed.

During her short time at St Gemma's Jane was looked after so well that she said it was like a 5 star hotel.  The nurses were friendly and when she was unable to sleep they would stay with her around the clock to keep her company (and make cups of tea!)

What exactly are we doing?

We are asking for you to sponsor our bike ride from Liverpool-Leeds on 15th & 16th September 2012.

The ride is appoximately 127.5 miles, cycling along the Leeds-Liverpool canal.  We plan to do the trip approximately 60 miles the first day and the remaining distance on the second.

St Gemma's is a very personal choice for us, we hope that you will agree with us that they are a very worthy cause by donating.

It doesn't have to be much, it will all make a difference & be very appreciated!
