Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Many people run the London Marathon for a myraid of reasons.  Mine is in memory of my father-in-law,  featured in the picture on the left.  This picture epitomises who he was to me, someone who loved the outdoors, enjoyed hiking, photography and loved life.  He touched and helped many people in his life and was a truly wonderful and remarkable person.  I was honoured to have known him.

He died of cancer 5 years ago around about the time of the London Marathon and I vowed to run the marathon in his memory - and this is my first marathon.

I would really appreciate it if you dug deep and supported me by sponsoring me online via this webpage.  Your support will encourage me to train harder and complete the 26.2miles!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Cheers

Trish
