Story

I am raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital to say thank you for the support and care they gave my brother and family through a tremendously difficult time. Just over three years ago we lost our neice, Emma to a very rare disease called Churg Strauss, even though the doctors and nurses tried everything to save her, she was aged 15.

I am new to running after having taken up the 5k learn to run in April last year and have continued to do Park runs in the summer and then thought it would be a good idea the enter the Brighton Half marathon. I am not a runner and have yet to experience the runner's high or get the running bug! However, I have joined Run Brighton and Sunday mornings have been training to do longer and longer runs on the downs or along the sea front in all weathers. I have met some lovely people and I am looking forward to the main event, I think!!

Thank you for your support.
