This year will be very tough for people (no need to go into the reasons why) and in my opinion it doesn't get worse than not having a roof over your head. 

Before I had children my sister, Charlotte, and I, used to work at the amazing shelters the charity, Crisis, builds every year at Christmas for the homeless. This year it will be much harder for them to offer the same kind of amazing care they give to people over Christmas due to COVID19 - it has been an incredibly difficult year for so many charities!

 During our times working at the shelters we came across some amazing human beings, the stories of hardship never ceased to break our hearts - contrary to belief most do not choose to be homeless and whilst many homeless people have come from broken homes we met all sorts of different people that you could never ever imagine would end up living on the street.

On the 19th December I will be riding (virtually) 160km on Zwift  through the streets of London and out to the Surrey Hills helping to raise as much as possible for homeless people this christmas - as always any donations however small are very very welcome!
