I believe health is the greatest gift for anyone and after losing my mother and close friend to cancer wanted to make a difference. My personal physical challenge is to manage my injuries and health issues to be able to train enough and complete the ride.
If I arrive in Paris and raise nothing then I will have achieved nothing because that is just one mans suffering, one mans pain, sport ! The only measure of this challenge can be how much I raise because that saves lives !
"Business and sport is just a game, the prize being success and money. It is what is done with that money that changes lives !"
I dedicate this to my Mother and Myra
To all the other people that didn't make it
To everyone who has been touched by cancer
And finally to all who donate no matter how much. I salute you !
Wishing you health and happiness. Thank you Trevor Clarke
The money raised will go towards boosting the life-saving work at the Clinical Haematology unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and increase there ability to deliver pioneering treatments for blood cancer patients at this centre of excellence in Birmingham.
