Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In Oct/Nov I will be part of a team of 20 cyclists who will ride 400km, across rough terrain, between the epicentres of the two earthquakes that hit Nepal in 2015. We are aiming to raise money for the YYY foundation to rebuild a number of schools, on top of the four already they have already rebuilt and three they have under construction.
Setting out from Singhati on 31/10, the route passes through the central hills of Nepal, traversing some of the worst hit areas, and finishing in Barpak, eight days later. The physical challenge will be great, but we will also experience the devastation that remains following the earthquakes and witness the appalling living conditions.
We aim to raise enough funds to build up to five schools, replacing destroyed buildings, adding much needed toilet facilities and water supplies and restocking them with books. We hope these rebuilt schools will change the lives of hundreds of young people in Nepal, whose lives are currently compromised through the lack of eduction facilities.

We finished the ride successfully, rode around 400km and climbed nearly 28,000ft in the process! Everyone is OK, many of us have a bit less skin on our knees and elbows, but we are all immensely proud of our journey. Thank you for supporting us!
