Story
I've lost 3 stone in the last year and have another stone to go and to keep this running thing going I've decided to run for charity so I can stay thin.
So why should you give me (and by me, I of course mean the charity) your hard earned money I hear you ask? Well...
1. If I know you it probably isn't that hard earned. Think of it as the money you attained while you were taking that extra few minutes for a break (or for those of you who smoke, a fresh air break) and then it doesn’t seem so bad.
2. It'll be classed as your good deed for the day, so you can probably go out and do something a bit evil or unsavoury and this will balance it out.
3. What else can you buy with a few quid these days anyway? A stamp? So you might as well give it to a good cause.
4. You're probably thinking you could use the money for a drink. Well, I say you drink too much anyway so one less drink isn't going to make much difference to your social status. So give it to me.
5. I really don't want to be fat again and this'll give me motivation to keep running. You wouldn't want me to be fat, would you? (If you've thought about this for more than five seconds, the correct answer is no, you don't want me to be fat).
So please dig deep and donate now.
Pretty please.
Thanks again.
