On Friday 25th November 2022 I am taking part in the DENS Sponsored Sleepout.

Hopefully I will survive a night sleeping rough in a school car park!!

DENS is a local charity close to my heart that Helps Rebuild Lives for Vulnerable People in the Hemel Hempstead area.

I also volunteer for DENS, predominantly as a photographer at their events.

If you are unable to spare money but have an old bicycle lying around gathering dust please consider donating it to The DENS Bicycle project.

Their mission is to empower them to take the next positive step in their lives.

Every little helps.

Donations go towards:

Day Centre - Where people can get a hot meal, develop their skills and seek advice.

The Elms Hostel – Providing temporary accommodation to those facing homelessness.

Move On Service – A transition service for Elms residents.

Resettlement Service – For council, social housing or private rented accommodation.

Foodbank – For emergency food supplies.

Social Enterprise Projects – Development of employ-ability skills and self-confidence in a supportive environment.
