Tom was a very dear friend and all of us on our team "The Unbelievable Trekkers" would do whatever we can to help the trust that has been set up in his name.

The Tom Maynard Trust has been set up to help the development of aspiring disadvantaged cricketers and other sportspeople who require support with different aspects of their career development.

ALL of your donations will be going directly to the trust via the Surrey cricket club. It is a very worthy cause and any donation will be much appreciated. We will be funding our own way there.

Tom was a person full of charisma. On the cricket field he was audacious, spectacular, and entertaining. Off the field he was that and much more. A man who had a incredibly positive and infectious effect on everyone he met.

Tom was always up for a challenge. That is why our team “The Unbelievable Trekkers” (See our team link below) have decided to jump in at the deep end with a survival test in the heart of the Borneo rainforest. This remote untamed corner of the world will play host to our 10 days of testing trekking. Sleeping on the jungle floor or with local tribes we shall hack our way through 20km of thick jungle per day until we reach our goal at Loksardo.
