My nan, Penny, has dealt with Alzheimer's for years and I and my family have witnessed just how much this disease takes from a person. Seeing this condition's early, middle and late stages affect her has been tough on all of us, and we'd like to do something to raise money for Alzheimer's Society in honour of her. Before her dementia became too severe to manage, my nan loved to hike, and so this event seems like the perfect way for my family to give back and do something for her. 

Alzheimer's Society are a fantastic charity, providing support work and research in the hopes that until we can find a cure, those affected by dementia are given the equal help and support that all human beings deserve. Please donate what you can - every bit counts!
