Story

Myself and SJ have signed up to take part in this walk to help raise money and awareness for this worthy cause.

Alzheimer's Society are determined to be there for everyone affected by dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that social isolation doesn't leave people with dementia completely cut off from social contact we're rolling out a completely new service: companion calls. Our amazing team of volunteers will be there to have a much-needed chat, check on people's wellbeing, and help everyone get the right support during these times.

My 92 year old grandmother has recently been diagnosed with dementia and in these very troubled times it is so upsetting for myself and my family knowing we can’t be there by her side.

Any donations to this worthy cause would be hugely appreciated!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
