Story

We have the easy bit as a team and will experience the beauty of Ullswater lake surrounded by towering fells and the powerful Aira Force waterfall.  We are doing this in support for loved ones and to raise money so together we can help find a cure. I am sure like many of us you have been affected in some way and any contribution will be most welcome and go to a great cause.

Please donate what you can to help our team support people who have had or currently are suffering with Dementia. Although there is no current cure for Dementia scientists and researchers are working hard to find one. Alzheimer's is the most common form of Dementia and please support to find a cure for this and other forms of Dementia.

Until that day comes, support and treatments are available that can help with symptoms and managing daily life. These can allow people with dementia to lead active, purposeful lives and carry on doing the things that matter to them most.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
