Story

Somebody immeasurably dear to us is battling this vile disease.

We, The Bergs, an inspired Team name, want to recognise this battle and so Mark, Kev and I are partaking of this 26 mile stroll around the Lake District on 3rd October...a bit of a challenge for at least me!

We want to raise some money for a cause that will hopefully help find a way to banish this loathsome spectre to history.

Times are tough for everyone this year.  Any support you can offer for this great cause will be very much appreciated.

The training and the event itself will see the 3 of us get a little fitter, a little lighter and hopefully inspire others, i.e. our Kids perhaps, to do something similar....if we can do this, most of you lot could do something similar for this or other causes, when you get time!

Thanks for any support you can offer, it is greatly appreciated.

The training has begun, but it will, as always, be a too little!!

We'll post some pictures over the coming weeks, as we count down from todays 32 days.

Cheers and Take Care
