Trek for loved ones, and raise money to support people devastated by dementia. Explore the rural landscape of the Cotswolds as you trek through ancient woodlands, wildflower meadows and historic Cotswold stone villages

Story

My mother-in-law died slowly of Alzheimer's three years ago. This year, the same happened to my father-in-law. They were such lovely people, it was heart-breaking to see them decline.

Alzheimer's disease struck two people who were the world's best in-laws. I'm going on a fundraising walk (42 km!) with Pete to raise money for researching the disease, how to prevent it and how to cure it. Pete and I will be walking together and reminiscing about the good times we had with my in-laws. In fact, we will be passing through what used to be my in-laws' house. (This is the house where Pete was born.)

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
