Story

Dementia is devastating, it takes those you love and slowly picks away at them, taking away their thoughts , their memories, their being and it doesn’t stop until it takes it all.

Sometimes I feel completely hopeless, standing back and watching our lovely mum slip through  our fingers. Living without hope  is just not me and it’s a bad place to be.

So we have decided to do something, to create some hope. We are going to walk 26 miles on the 22nd June across the Brecon beacons in Wales to raise some money for  Alzheimer’s Society who are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

So by walking there is hope, by raising funds there is hope for my mum, and many like her.

If you can support us, Mum and millions like her we would be most grateful. Let’s give them some hope
