Story

I am off on a 13 mile trek over the Brecon Becons with Charlotte Davis next month. We are raising money for and awareness of dementia and the work that the Alzheimer's Society do.

The disease has affected both of our families. I personally think that dementia is one of those illnesses, that no-one talks about, but it affects most people.

I'm hoping, for anyone that has been affected by this terrible disease, or witnessed others suffering, will find it in their hearts and chip in a few quid to help us raise £400 by September 6th.

There may not be a cure in our lifetime - but by doing this fundraiser, I hope one day, people won't have to go through this blistering pain and heartache.

Thanks folks. X

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
