Trek26 Brecon Beacons - 13 miles (Sunday) · 5 September 2021 ·

Journey through a spectacular area of wild moorland, tumbling waterfalls and sweeping mountain slopes in the Brecon Beacons. Trek for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure.

Story

As you may know Bleddyn is now in a nursing home in the final stages of Parkinson’s. An Admiral Nurse is based there who specialises in aspects of psychosis and dementia. She has greatly helped us, Bleddyns family, and we want to give something in return to the research about dementia and it’s related difficulties. So “Team Bleddyn”: Megan & Barbara are doing the 13 mile Brecon Beacons walk organised by the Alzheimer’s Society on Sunday July 4. If you can help with a sponsorship donation please do. Thankyou
(Siân will be cooking tea for us that evening!!!)

Alzheimer’s  Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
