Story

Alzheimers could affect any one of us.  It's a devastating disease - and if I am honest, one of my greatest fears.

I felt that it was important for me to take part in this 26 mile challenge, not just to raise some money for this amazing charity, but to raise awareness and help to reduce the stigma associated with Alzheimers and dimentia that affects so many sufferers and their families.

I am so grateful to have my wonderful family supporting me - and joining me on this tough walk across the Lake District - and making sure their middle aged, asthmatic mother/in-law (to be) makes it to the end in one piece (and doesn't get lost!!).  Between us we hope to raise £900 and appreciate any and all donations that will take us closer to our goal.

THANK YOU. ❤❤
