Story

What I'm doing

On September 3rd 2022, with a team from work (HeadBox), I'll be walking 26 miles through the rolling hills surrounding Stonehenge to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Starting at 6.30am, we'll be walking for 10 to 12 hours, whatever the weather.

I've started the recommended 16 week training plan to get ready for the trek. I'll be cycling to and from the station to get 40 mins of cycling in on days I'm commuting, walking a couple of times a week, and doing conditioning and stretching exercises.

Please support me & the Alzheimer’s Society

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported.

Please help me get to my minimum fundraising target of £300!

Terrain

Steep valleys, rolling downs and woodland with an ongoing mixture of up and down hill but without any singular, long climbs.

Highlights and Landmarks

We'll be walking past Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Stonehenge.
