Story

About the event!

We are Anglia Ruskin University students and as part of our Tourism and Events Management module project we have decided to organise a charity event, which entails walking along the River Thames on a pre-determined route between 22nd November and 28th  November the aim is to collect funds for the Children Cancer Research Organisation.

Furthermore, we aim to raise the awareness and remember all of the children and teenagers who have never had the opportunity to pursue their dream of becoming a student or graduate.

We would highly appreciate your kindness in supporting our initiative!

About the charity

Cancer in children & young people (aged 0–24) is different to cancer in adults – from the types of cancer, to the impact of treatment & the long-term side effects survivors often experience. Through research we’re determined to overcome some of the different challenges these cancers present.
