Story
My mom, Phoebe Trantham, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2013. She has shown such faith and strength over the last 8 years as she has faced the daily ups and downs with Parkinson's symptoms. In early 2021, Phoebe had Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery and has shown some improvement in her symptoms. We have seen God moving in her life through that process, especially as He brought a sweet friend in her life that ended up having the same surgery the same week as my mom. Through the DBS process, we have seen how beneficial the Parkinson's community is for those who have been diagnosed with PD. Our goal with this Community Walk is to raise awareness for Parkinson's Disease and provide support and encouragement for those diagnosed with PD. We'd love for you to come walk with us! If you feel led to donate to the Parkinson's foundation, we would greatly appreciate that too!
