Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

I will be participating in the London to Windsor Bike Ride on 31st August to raise funds for the Child Bereavement Charity, in memory of our son, Matthew.  I really hope to raise my target of £250, and hopefully more, for this great cause - I hope you can support me - no matter what the amount!

The Child Bereavement Charity helps the many thousands of families every year who suffer the pain of their child's death, and also helps children whose parent or sibling is dying or has died.

On a personal level, I found the charity's literature extremely helpful and comforting after losing Matthew.  It helped me not only in the early days but also throughout my pregnancy with Daniel and beyond.  This is the reason I feel strongly about raising funds for the charity now, so that others finding themselves in the unthinkable situation of losing a child can get the support they need.

The bike ride will is 29-37 miles long, depending on the route taken (shortest please!!!!!), starting at Richmond green and ending in Alexandra Gardens, Windsor.  I will be riding with Uncle Colin and cousin Claire.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Child Bereavement Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support, Tracy xxxxxxxxxxxxx
