<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects one person in every 500.<span> </span>People with Parkinson’s don’t have enough of a chemical called dopamine because some nerve cells in their brain have died.<span> </span>Without dopamine a person’s movements become much slower affecting their ability to carry out day-to-day tasks and having to be reliant on someone else.<span> </span>The severity of the symptoms change as the disease progresses and having to take lots of medication to keep these symptoms under control often causes additional problems.<span> </span>My mum has lived with Parkinson’s Disease for quite a number of years now and it severely restricts her day-to-day tasks.<span> </span>There is no cure to date.</p>
