In March this year my gorgeous nephew, Alfie, age 4 was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).  DMD is a severe type of muscular dystrophy and is a rare and complex muscle wasting condition and at present has no cure.

I am doing the skydive to support this fantastic charity and to raise awareness of this devastating condition.  We need vital research into treatments to provide families living with this condition with the best possible care and life-changing support.  Alfie is such a happy, smiley little boy and I'm sure he will be so excited to see his auntie jumping out of a plane.
