My name is Tracy Thackray-Howitt, some people might know me from Dickinson's Real Deal, Bling, or as a director of The Chapel Jeweller's in Sheffield.

In 2019, I lost my husband Richard in a terrible car accident, and 6 weeks later I also lost my little brother Mark unexpectedly due to mental health issues. As you can imagine the grief was unbearable and is still ongoing. I have therefore decided that I would like to do something out of my comfort zone in memory of these two special people and raise some money in their legacy. 

Anybody who knows me will know that I am frightened of heights and not a keen flyer at all, unlike my husband Richard who had planned to do a parachute jump, just before he died. I am therefore going to do this tandem parachute jump on the 27th of March 2022 for Richard.

 With the ongoing situation that is unfolding in the Ukraine, I think that the work Disasters Emergencies Committee does is amazing. Bringing the main charity's in the Uk together.  Going right into any situation to deliver aid for the people that are affected.
