London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

My London Marathon Run will be In memory of a friend, lost this year and  missed by all who knew her Linda Coppenhall.

Linda was a friend from the Alsager Company of Archers, she was like all of us. A wife, mother, Nanny and someone who would stand up for those who couldn’t do it for them selves. A great cook, hard worker, loved life and making memories with family and friends. She also liked a gin like me.
She is missed greatly.

So as October was her birthday this year i am raising money in her memory. ( she would think I’m mad…and she’d be right)

If my mad challenge can do some good for others so be it. If you can spare something I'd be grateful and if not no worries.
Just think of me on October 2nd as i take part in the best party in the streets - this years TCS London Marathon, wish me well and try to talk me out of ever doing it again!!!

(The person in charge of stopping me doing daft things is fired)

Wish me luck...I'm going to need it.

Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help them to make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
