*******UPDATE*******
Well we did it - the weather was great and we all made it - some of us are a little chaffed, but generally all well. We are so very nearly at our target and I am sure we will reach it. Thank you all for your support and we are already looking forward to next year.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I've roped in a whole gang to take on the gruelling 50 mile cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Please help us support a very worthwhile cause. SNAC - Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children. Yes that's right - children. Sadly they too can be affected by this horrible condition. My daughter Jos was diagnosed when she was only one. She now needs a weekly injection of a pretty horrendous drug to stop her joints from seizing up and to make things worse for her she is now also suffering from the associated condition of uveitis. From personal experience it is not pleasant. We’re not looking for pity – far from it, but we do need your money! A group of people with children with this condition have set up a new charity – SNAC, which looks to offer a support network for affected families. I know how important a support network can be – especially at initial diagnosis of a chronic condition. If we can help other families to cope then it makes life so much easier. We may not be able to take away the pain, but we might help make it more bearable. To be able to do this SNAC desperately needs funding.
Please help us to make this possible. We really need you. Thank you again for taking the time to read this.
