Story
My best friend - my mum lost her battle with cancer on Sunday.
It still doesn’t seem real and it’s hard to put it into words. She was my best friend, and the best nan and great nan ever. She was partner to my step dad for46 years. She was a true warrior as one carer said.
She fought to the very end despite the excruciating pain she was telling us each and everyday how much she loved us and didn’t want to leave us.
Things will never be the same again mum - you will be in our thoughts each and every day.
I would like to thank all the carers, nurses and hospice team for all they done and am hoping to do a skydive in memory of my mum.
