On 7th July 2019 Mam was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and shorly after confirmed was a Stage 4 Glioblastoma Tumour. 

She underwent 5wks of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy at Clatterbridge hospital and throughout her treatment enjoyed popping to Maggie's for a cuppa of tea and slice of cake.  Always welcomed with a smile. 

They helped Mam so much and continue to help me since Mam passed away on Sunday 29th September 2019.

I made a promise to her I would do the Great North Run in her memory and raise as much as possible to help support other families like ours.
