Story

3rd October slide was cancelled due to high winds & moved to 25th October (also cancelled) - now taking place on Saturday 31st July 2010 at 10.15am

To satisfy my love of jumping from great heights I am going to be doing a Zip Line across the River Clyde in aid of the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, along with Julie & Claire from work.

I will be climbing 160ft to the top of a crane on the Clydeside and sliding 1000ft across the River Clyde to the other side.

Please get digging down the back of your couch and sponsor me as much as you can afford.

Thanks in anticipation everyone for your generosity!

Now for the Official bit:

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Zipline is a fun and exciting challenge for a great cause. The sponsorship I raise by taking part in this challenge will help the patients and their carers of the Hospice face their own personal challenges.

So please dig deep and donate now.
