Story
If anyone would like to make a donation instead of flowers at our upcoming farewell to George I have set up this page for the money to go to Young Minds and their fight for the mental health of young people.
George was so different from a baby to the beginning of his teens he was so full of life. Energetic, funny, sensitive - very much a free spirit who never felt the need to conform. He was his own person and creativity ran through every pore of his being.
He was still that person in his teens but the anxiety and later depression was such a hard battle added to the lack of help and inconsistency and inadequate services for young people with mental health . The added complexities of COVID made this battle so very hard and the help ineffective for George.
His mental health battle was one he never would have given up on. He wanted a better life so for him to be taken from us by some other way is the cruellest of blows.
George believed in therapy and what it could do to help people so for anyone out there struggling don't be afraid ask for help/demand support from your Doctor and don't give up.
We will love and miss you every minute of every day for the rest of our lives xxxx
