Story
Over 50 of the finest tractors ever to grace the British
countryside will once again take to the roads in aid of Charity for The Annual Charity Bluebell Tractor Run on Sunday 13th May 2018.
The Bluebell Tractor Run, organised by the Moreton Show and North Cotswold Tractor Club, will cover a beautiful 40 mile route travelling through Withington, Upper Coberley, Colesbourne, Compton Abdale, Calmsden, Chedworth and Yanworth.
It will make spectacular viewing as some of the historic farming workhorses, with a top speed of 15mph, roll through the beautiful
Cotswold countryside. Some of the tractors taking part in the event will be modern, but many date back to the 1950s or even older.
The tractors take to the roads to raise money for Cancer Research.
We want to get on top of this disease and support those who are
working on the drugs to combat cancer. We hope lots of people will join us support the Bluebell Tractor Run, please donate today and help in the fight against this terrible disease
Roy Limbrick, a local farmer from Sherborne, and a Council member for Moreton Show, helped organise the first run in 2016 in memory of his wife, Sybil. The 2016 run was enjoyed by everyone who took part and has become a popular annual event.
Many of the tractors taking part can be seen later in the summer. They will play a major part at Moreton Show, on Saturday 1st September 2018. Details of the show and ticket sales can be found at www.moretonshow.co.uk
