Story
Many of you may know ( and many of you won’t know) that I am living with Stage 4 breast cancer. Having recovered from Stage 3 breast cancer in 2014, I was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 4 last year, with my cancer having spread to other part of my body.
I have always been quite private about my journey and have never shared my experiences online. I was not sure about doing so now but having spoken to others who have walked a similar path, I am very aware of the benefits of sharing your journey- with all of its ups and downs. Breast Care Now have been a valuable resource through my treatment and I wanted to raise awareness and vital funds so it can support and care for others on a similar path.
I am taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer. By 2030, it’s estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone.By sponsoring my Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
