All of my life I knew I wanted to be a Police Officer and have been fortunate and proud to have served in Lancashire Constabulary twice. My professional journey will be coming to an end in March 2014 when I will be retiring.

2 miles a day for 125 days, totalling 250 miles. I'm sure I'll see some of you on the road or in the gym and a wave of encouragement is welcome as much as a donation.

So yes, I am literally running into my retirement.

I am doing this run in memory of a police officer who made the ultimate sacrifice along with her colleague Fiona. By raising money for these charities we can continue to support police officers and their families into the future.
