Story
I'm doing race for life this year because;
My 14 year old daughter Lily developed a lump on her forearm in December 2013. She had two operations to remove the lump at New Cross hospital, but each time it returned. She was then referred to Birmingham Children's Hospital (BCH) who removed the third lump and diagnosed it as a "Spitzoid Tumour of Unknown Malignant Potential" or STUMP!! She now has a 3-4 inch scar and a significant dip where the tumour was removed. She is currently having 3 monthly check ups at BCH. Lily has not stopped her positive attitude throughout this very scary time for us all and is the driving force behind raising money for Cancer Reserch.
Update as of 20/5/15 Lily has found a new lump next to her scar we are hoping it's scar tissue or an undisolved stitch but now we are back to the hospital on 12th June to have it checked ... a very long 3 weeks ahead
