Tracey's May Day Procession Horse Ride

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am setting up this just giving page in memory of my lovely mum, who is so sadly missed.
Mum passed away on my birthday last year on the 6th July which was devastating for me. As it's my 40th birthday this year I wanted to do something special in memory of my mum and to support her charity "Target Ovarian Cancer".
Mum was in stage 4 when she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, she sadly passed away 16 months later after having had 2 lots of chemotherapy. Mum was so brave through it all & kept smiling the best she could. I do believe if mum knew about the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer she would still be here today.
Mum always wanted me to ride in the Gawthorpe May Day Procession, as I took part in the procession as a young girl leading the May Queens on horse back, but never rode in it myself. This year on Saturday 2nd May I am going to ride my own horse "Brooke" in the procession and ride for mums charity and try and raise as much money for such a worthy cause. Mum never had chance to ever see Brooke or see me ride her, she would have loved Brooke dearly as she is such a good natured horse, one in a million in my eyes!!! I purchased Brooke to help me come to terms in losing mum, she is the therapy I needed to take my mind off my grief.
My intention is to rally as many local horse riders to take part in the procession to ride along with me and donate a £5 entry fee through this Just Giving page or text a donation to BROK49 (space) £5 (or own amount) to 70070. Everyone is welcome to come down to the procession & show their support for all involved on the day.
All donations will be greatly appreciated not just of those taking part In the procession.
I really want to make my mum proud & fulfil her dream, as I know she'll be watching me with great pride.
Thank You so Much for your support and kind generosity
