We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

So, I had a moment of madness and entered my first half marathon. Now I know a lot of you have run a lot further, but this is a big deal for me.

Cancer has affected my life far too many times, loosing my mum, Lynn,  nearly 16yrs ago when she was just 48, to most recently loosing a lovely friend, Gaynor with no warning in February.  Having also lost 3 other friends without the chance to say goodbye, lovely Michelle, Tim and Judy. So, I thought it was time to get off one's backside and run for them.

Gaynor was one of the most selfless people I have ever met, I know I can't repay her for all the lovely things she did for me, but I wanted to do something.....

So on 11th October, I will run the Royal Parks Half Marathon. It will be an emotional day.

Please support where you can. Give a little dosh, come and watch, shout, laugh, help me on a training run; get involved. Anyone good at sports massage??!

Thank you

Wiggers xx
