Story
I am taking part in the London to Paris bike ride over 4 days from the 20th until 23rd July 2022 in memory of my son, Patrick, who died of leukaemia in 2006, age 13.
Patrick was first diagnosed at age 6 and fought for 8 years, resulting in a Bone Marrow Transplant at Sheffield Children's Hospital, but sadly died a few weeks later on the 10th September 2006. It would have been Patrick's 30th birthday this year and I hope by taking part in this event I can increase awareness of this disease and also raise money in Patrick's memory.
Update
I did it - a huge thank you to everybody for their love, support and donations.
All greatly appreciated for a very worthy cause that’s very close to my heart ❤️ Xx
