Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My challenge: To run 96 miles along The West Higland Way over two days.
I am always trying to make the most of my days and I can usually be found rushing around. So, with a free weekend in my diary, I have decided that starting on Saturday 9th July I will attempt to run the length of the West Highland Way, 96 miles, in two days.
The first day will see me run from Milngavie to Tyndrum (53 miles) I will then allow myself a good nights sleep before completing the challenge the following day.
Why? Because my dad has suffered from Parkinson's disease for over 16 years and his dream was to walk the length of the West Highland Way one day. Unfortunately, due to the crippling nature of Parkinson's my dad can't complete the walk, so, I have decided to do it for him!
I know it is a tough time at the moment but anything you are able to donate would be very much appreciated.
