I am excited to be running the 2022 London Marathon to raise money for the Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association.

Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association provide so much support to local families; including education, development, inclusion and friendship. 

My friend Joy received additional support from Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association this year to ensure she could be included in an After School Club. On top of the support Joy receives to ensure she is fully included in her classroom, the charity paid for Joy to receive additional support within the After School Club - making sure she knew the routine and that she would be  safe. This has the added benefit of enabling her parents to work as typical parents would! 

Joy’s family are so excellently supported by Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association and I’m proud to be able to support such a charity with such a direct benefit to local families and, of course, my pal Joy.
