My name is Grace and I am 12 years old, my Grandma passed away from cancer and my Nanna survived cancer. I want raise awareness to people my age about cancer and how it effects others. Many people die from cancer each year and I want to help stop it and find a cure .

My Grandad is my best friend and he is 77 years old, and since losing Grandma my Grandad has done lots of amazing things to help raise money for those who have been affected in one way or another by cancer. My Grandad has done the Liverpool to Leeds challenge twice so far and along with family and friends has raised an amazing £10,000 for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre over the last few years. 

From Saturday the 29th June to 1st July my Daddy and Grandad and some of their friends are taking part for the 3rd time  in the 150 mile - Liverpool to Leeds challenge,  I really wanted to join in the fun and help raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Center so I decided to do the last leg of the journey.

So I will be joining up with all of the cyclists for the final 10 miles from Foulridge Canal Tunnel near Hey to Gargrave on the 30th June and then continue on with them for the final 50 miles on the 1st July from Gargrave to Home (60 miles in total).
