Story

Tracey does the Tango!

After encouragement from my MD to put myself forward, I am delighted to be selected to take part in the Strictly Northampton 2019, and I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity.

As part of this event, and the showcasing of my fabulous (fingers crossed) dancing skills, I am delighted to be fundraising for ‘Cynthia Spencer Hospice Trust’, a fantastic charity, and one which will always hold a very special place in my heart. Cynthia Spencer provided excellent care for my Dad, not only ensuring his comfort, but also taking care of the wider family, showing empathy and providing invaluable support. I am so pleased to be able to give something back to this compassionate hospice, and to help them continue to support their patients, and the families of those patients.

Having very little dance experience, apart from those late nights in the pub when I request a bit of Dolly, I expect that this is going to be a real challenge, and will require me to step out of my comfort zone. Rehearsals begin in September, and continue through to the ‘Live Show’ on Saturday 23rd November 2019, and I assure you that I will be training day and night, and ’9 to 5’!

I am so grateful for the amount of support that I have received so far from my daughters, friends, and my work family at FCL. This is a really special moment for me, both in terms of trying something new, and supporting a charity which I care so deeply for. I would be grateful for your support and any donations for this excellent cause.
