I am running the Virgin London Marathon on 13th April 2013 in aid of the Southern Area Hospice Services.  This is my first ever marathon and I am feeling scared, excited and nervous about the challenge ahead.  After two years of being a "sheperdess" I decided it was time to take the plunge and get over to the other side of the fence. 

Unfortunately many of us know of someone who has required the much needed service that the hospice offers.  I have seen the great work they do, offering support to people, their families with respect, care and dignity
